While working at 906 Technologies, I was heavily involved in developing our security posture to meet CMMC Level 2 guidelines. I was a key part of developing the System Security Plan, policies, and procedures for the company. On the technical side, I managed the Microsoft 365 GCC High migration and compliance, ensuring controls that relied on services within GCC High were compliant. I also implemented and managed the physical security of the company, becoming the Physical Security Officer. This included ensuring we had compliant surveillance systems, door access controls, and proper building security. This project was a big stepping stone for me within the CMMC space, and allowed me to gain knowledge to progress towards achieving my CMMC Certified Professional, which as of 4/18/2026, is just pending my Tier 3 determination. For the company, this certification now allows us to assist our current clients with DoJ contracts to achieve their own CMMC Level 2 certification, while also giving us the ability to assist new clients on achieving the certification as well.
